No, we begin each class with a reading from either the Bible or from a devotional type book. Also, at the end of our session we will repeat the same content for confirmation. Usually, this is done during our relaxation time.
Whether you come with a Christ centered heart or maybe you are not sure what you believe; we welcome you.
Each person is strongly encouraged to only do what they are capable of doing. Everyone’s practice is their own. While there are different levels of classes we try to accommodate everyone’s level by offering modifications.
Aside from the physical benefits of stretching and breathing, many feel a real sense of connection with the Holy Spirit and take away a heightened sense of peace and tranquility. Some also feel joyful and energetic after a session. What each person receives from a class is entirely up to what they open their hearts to receive. In all our “busyness” in the world, sometimes we need a time and place dedicated to helping ourselves find some peace, quiet and slow movement. With Glory Be, Yoga for the Soul we strive to make each class unique, tranquil, and satisfying for your body, mind and spirit.
